Conclusion: Excellent mount, works well
Review: This mount comes in two seperate pieces, an adapter that screws onto the handlebar and a battery case that snaps onto the adapter and the GPS. The result is an excellent fit which is secure and will prevent the GPS from falling off when riding over any terrain. The battery case is interchangable with the other Garmin mounts and works well. Definitely a good purchase.

Review: Holds my etrex venture very securely. I use it on my mountain bike and the unit has stayed secure after catching air and after some nasty spills. Strong and solid.

Review: I've had this for 1 1/2 years now. It still snaps securely into place and holds the GPS into the mounting clip. Within the last 6 months, it has sort of loosened up and is a little shaky when riding on rough pavement. It has never fallen out of the clip so I continue to use it. For the price however, I did expect a little higher quality.

Review: As many have mentioned before, this product does not work with the Etrex Vista. I have the Vista Hcx and was pretty excited to get this mount, only to find out the cover doesn't fit the back of the GPS unit. I wish I had read all the 1-star reviews before ordering this item, it's disconcerting to see that Amazon lists this item as compatible with the Vista when in reality, it's not.
