Conclusion: Great add on for snowmobile
Review: I purchased this so I could have power for my GPS on my snowmobile. If you don't have a cigarette plug on yours, go to your local electronics store and get yourself a bridge rectifier, cut the plug off of this and connect to the rectifier, tap into 12 VAC and ground on the sled for the other 2 connectors on the rectifier and you've got power. You do still need batteries because the voltage gets weak at idle, but there is plenty off idle. Get the bicycle mount for GPS to mount on handlebars. Been using this setup for a few years. Works great and is a smart idea in unfamiliar territory.

Review: The prongs on the reciever end does not make good contact. I can get the GPS to work as long as I dont move it around. Screw that holds it on the GPS, bottoms out before it touches the contacts.

Review: Hey, its a cord. What do you expect? I have a Magellan SporTrak Pro and bought this cord to use in the car on vacation earlier this year. The cord connects to the back of the GPS unit and plugs into the power jack in your car. Worked just fine for me using it this way.
